It has already been a busy start to the new year for our Local. Here is the latest update as of January 10, 2020.
Service Composite Collective Agreement was ratified on January 8th. C&W Services at Providence
The C&W Unit voted to join CUPE Local 5441, and CUPE Local 5441 voted to receive the C&W Unit within our Local Union Structure. We are awaiting formal approval from CUPE National Office.
Nominations and Elections
Nominations were held on January 9th at our General Membership meeting. President: Daniel Callaghan (acclaimed)

Recording-Secretary: Elkin Greig (acclaimed)
Executive Chief Steward: Mailo Padillo (acclaimed)
Elections for Secretary-Treasurer, Trustees, and By-Law Committee will occur on January 23rd, from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. at each site. St. Michael’s: Upper Marketeria; St. Joseph’s: Room SB-113; Providence: Season’s Café Lounge
